The Metapool Factory, which was the first Curve Factory, allows the permissionless deployment of regular [stableswap](https://docs.curve.finance/developer/amm/legacy/stableswap/overview.md) plain and metapools, LP tokens, and liquidity gauges. **Liquidity pool and LP token DO NOT share the same contract.**:::deploy\[Contract Source & Deployment\]
